Natural Origins is an expert in sourcing natural ingredients and has created its Lifestyle product range, dedicated to 100% botanical sports nutrition. We are supporting the Run In Lyon event, supplying runners with our two drinks BAOBAB WORKOUT and PROPULSE. Here's a summary of a botanical sports challenge.

Natural Origins and its participation in Run in Lyon

With over 30,000 participants on 4 different courses: 10km, semi-marathon, marathon and 5km for solidarity, the 2023 edition of the Run in Lyon was a real success, so much so that Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) managed to attain pre-pandemic figures.

The Natural Origins team is delighted to have been able to help runners of all abilities discover and taste our products. This involvement has also enabled us to raise our profile in the Rhône-Alpes region and reach this core target.

Chloé Blanchard, Product Manager, explains that sportsmen and women "are looking for natural solutions to improve their performance and sensations". She adds that the "drinks have been very well received, with no chemical aftertaste, 100% botanicals for effective and comforting hydration".

In fact, our botanical ingredients are rigorously selected, with full traceability from sourcing, formulation to manufacturing and marketing of your products.

Our premium drinks are also original and inexpensive. They come from recipes developed with a sports nutritionist in our R&D laboratories and specially designed for the needs of athletes.

The village and its animated events

On the Place Bellecour, site of the race village, Natural Origins Lifestyle®  had a 25m² stand where a lot of talking and sharing took place. Indeed, the Run in Lyon is a superb opportunity to communicate with runners and their entourage, to let them taste our drinks and to receive their opinions and appreciations.

In addition to the extraordinary atmosphere on site, the runners were particularly motivated to test our new products. Our customers, proud to be running alongside Natural Origins, were offered race pinnies. Encouraging a positive dynamic, strengthening cohesion and enabling people to get together in a sporting context are all made possible by our active participation in Run in Lyon.

At the event, we also had the honour of meeting Stéphane Diagana, world champion and 400m hurdles record-holder, on our stand. Following a tasting of our Baobab Workout Powder, his feedback was favourable, and the great sportsman even told us that the baobab pulp had brought back memories of his childhood. Baobab is a botanical traditionally consumed in Africa, known for providing energy and relieving various ailments.

Chloé concludes: "It was a great time for the teams of volunteers involved, between preparing the drinks and serving them, the flow was intense. It was a great opportunity to offer our drinks (to the athletes) at key moments in their races so that they could try them out and get all the benefits."
